50-year-old Robert Harper, Jr. was reportedly shot and killed outside the Ravin Hotel in Nashville Tuesday afternoon, February 6, 2018.

According to WSMV 4, gunfire erupted “at the Ravin Hotel on Brick Church Pike just after 1:30 p.m.” Fox 17 reports, responding officers discovered Mr. Harper “inside his pickup truck” in the hotel parking lot. Tragically, he succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene.

A shooting outside the Somerset Glen apartment complex reportedly left a man critically injured Thursday, January 25, 2018.

According to NBC 12, gunfire erupted “on Westover Hills Boulevard at the Somerset Glen Apartments around 2:45 a.m.” FOX Carolina reports, responding officers discovered a male victim “suffering from several gunshot wounds” at the scene. He was transported to the hospital. His identity and current condition have not been released.

Could this senseless Asheville apartment shooting have been prevented?

Gunfire erupted at the Hillcrest apartment complex in Asheville Sunday morning, February 4, 2018, leaving a man with critical injuries.

According to FOX Carolina, the shooting occurred at the “Hillcrest Apartments…on Atkinson Street,” around 3:30 a.m. A male victim was transported to Mission Hospital with “life-threatening injuries.” His current condition has not been released.

The complex was apparently the subject of prior shooting investigations in November 2017, August 2017, May 2016, and June 2015, per Citizen-Times and WLOS reports.
