San Antonio, TX- A motor vehicle/pedestrian accident Saturday afternoon, March 14, 2025, left one woman dead.
As reported by News4SanAntonio.com, “[f]irst responders were called around 1:09 p.m. to the intersection of West Quill Drive and Bandera Road. Officers on scene said the driver was traveling down Quill with a passenger when he attempted to turn onto Bandera. The driver thought he pressed the brake, but “accidentally ” hit the gas pedal and accelerated.”
KENS5.com is reporting, “[p]olice say the vehicle struck Darlene Ibarra, 35, who was standing on the corner. Ibarra suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.”
