Wichita, KS – A motor vehicle accident Saturday night, August 29, 2025, left two people fatally injured.

As reported by KWCH.com, “[a]t 9:35 p.m. on Saturday, Wichita police were called to the intersection of Central and Webb for a three-vehicle crash. They said a black truck was traveling east on Central when it collided with a white car and a gray Jeep that were both traveling south.”

WRDW.com is reporting, “[a] mother and her daughter, who were both in the white car, were killed. They were identified as 42-year-old Lashea Bell and 25-year-old A’Niah Bell.”

According to the report, “[the driver of the black truck] was taken to the hospital with injuries before she was booked into jail. Officials said speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.”

The investigation is ongoing.
