36-year-old Alma Delia Contreras Martinez was reportedly stabbed during an attempted robbery outside a Raleigh Food Lion Thursday evening, January 11, 2018.
According to WNCN, a male suspect approached Ms. Martinez “in the parking lot of a Food Lion…and tried to rob her,” around 6:30 p.m. He allegedly “stabbed her three times in the head and three times in the back” before fleeing the scene. The News & Observer reports, Ms. Martinez was transported to Wake Medical Center with “serious, but not life threatening” injuries.
