Two separate residents were assaulted in home invasions at an Annapolis, MD apartment complex early Monday, April 6, 2020.  

As reported by, “[a] woman has told police her residence in Bay Ridge Gardens was broken into Monday and that she was assaulted by the intruders.”

According to the report, “[a]fter one person forced their way into the rear door of her apartment on Bens Drive, more assailants to filed in…the intruders assaulted the woman and took off.” is reporting, “[t]hat night, gun-wielding assailants burst into another woman’s residence in the same community…Around 11:30 p.m….two armed intruders busted into a woman’s residence on Marcs Court, hit her in the face with a gun and forced her into her bedroom. There, the assailants…stole her cash and cell phone.”

The investigation is ongoing. reported on a fatal shooting in this complex on March 2020.


Residents and guests of apartment complexes have a right to feel safe and secure while on the premises.
