A 40-year-old father, Chris Brown, was reportedly shot and killed during a robbery home invasion at his Houston apartment Sunday, June 19, 2016.
According to KHOU News, “Three men broke into a family’s apartment in the 700 block of Country Place Drive around 6 a.m. Sunday and ransacked the home. One of the suspects pistol whipped the father and later shot him once.” The victim’s wife and children were apparently home during the shooting, but physically unharmed.
Police are still searching for the suspects, who stole some items and the victim’s SUV, per media reports. Texas Police News has identified the victim as 40-year-old Chris Brown.
