23-year-old Shania Holcombe was reportedly killed, and three others were injured, in a head-on collision in Lexington Tuesday night, January 29, 2019.

According to The State, “The deadly crash happened around 7 p.m. on the 4700 block of Augusta Road in Lexington, not far from Interstate 20.”  “Shania Holcombe, 23, of Batesburg-Leesville [was identified] as the driver of a northbound vehicle that collided head-on with a vehicle in the median lane” per WIS 10 reports.  Ms. Holcombe’s passenger was transported to the hospital in “critical condition,” according to the report, and “two occupants of the other vehicle were transported with non-life-threatening injuries.” Their identities and current conditions have not been released.
