Douglas, ND – A motor vehicle/Truck accident Thursday morning, June 5, 2024, left one man fatally injured.

As reported by KXnet.com, “[a]ccording to the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP), on Thursday at about 8:39 a.m., the man was driving a John Deere side by side west on 359th Ave SW, when a Kenworth cement truck also traveling west attempted to pass the side by side. The side by side reportedly turned left in front of the cement truck and was hit by the Kenworth. The John Deere came to rest in the north ditch, and the cement truck tipped onto the driver side and slid on the road, blocking both of lanes of traffic.”

KFYRtv.com is reporting, “[t]he driver of the side-by-side died from his injuries. The truck driver was treated at the hospital.”

According to MinotDailyNews.com, “Gorlyn Wohlk, 80, Douglas, died in the crash.”
