Phoenix, AZ News – One man was killed after a shooting at a hotel Saturday morning, October 25, 2025.

As reported by KTAR.com, “officers responded to a reported shooting in the parking lot of a hotel in the area of 48th Avenue and McDowell Road around 5:39 a.m.”

AZFamily.com is reporting, “[w]hen officers arrived, they found a man, identified as 48-year-old Delvecchio Smith, who was suffering from at least one gunshot wound.”

According to the report, “Smith was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.”

The investigation is ongoing.
