North Richland Hills, TX News – One woman is dead after a shooting early Sunday morning, September 7, 2025.

As reported by WFAA.com, “[o]fficers responded to a shooting call around midnight Sunday outside [an entertainment venue] at the 8600 block of Airport Freeway in North Richland Hills.”

Fox4News.com is reporting, “[p]olice said a fight broke out inside the entertainment venue just before it closed at midnight. The fight escalated and spilled out into the parking lot, where [the suspect] is accused of pulling out a gun and shooting two people.”

According to the report, “DaShayla Jones, a 21-year-old woman from Dallas, died at the scene. A second victim, a 23-year-old man from Dallas, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”

The investigation is ongoing.
