As reported by 8NewsNow.com, “[t]he incident occurred at approximately 10:17 p.m. LVMPD officers were near South Main Street and West Charleston Boulevard when they heard gunshots. Police said officers ran toward a crowd of people and found two people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Additional officers arriving at the scene located a third person who had also been shot.”

KTNV.com is reporting, “[t]hree people were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds. One person, who we’ve now learned through family is Carth Onasi Jacobs-Rodgers, was pronounced dead at the hospital.”

According to Fox5Vegas.com, “[t]he shooting happened during the October First Friday event, a monthly gathering in the Arts District that recognizes local artists and vendors.”

The investigation is ongoing.
