Kansas City, MO NEWS – Gunfire rang out at an apartment complex Thursday afternoon, July 10, 2025, leaving one man dead and a woman injured.
As reported by KCTV5.com, “The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department said a shooting just after 4:10 p.m. Thursday resulted in a homicide investigation. It happened in the area of the 11800 block of Winchester, in an apartment complex just east of I-49.”
Fox4KC.com is reporting, “officers were sent to the area near 118th Street and Winchester Avenue on a shooting call. When those officers arrived, they located multiple people in the parking lot of an apartment complex.”
According to the report, “in that parking lot, two victims were found with gunshot wounds as well. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, and one woman was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.”
