Wichita, KS – A motor vehicle accident Friday morning, October 9, 2026, left two people fatally injured.
As reported by StLouisCountyPolice.com, “[o]n Friday, October 9, 2026, at 7:23 a.m., St. Louis County Police Department City of Jennings Precinct officers responded to a motor vehicle crash near the intersection of Lucas and Hunt Road and Hord Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located three vehicles involved in the crash. Preliminary investigation indicates Vehicle #1 was traveling northbound on Lucas and Hunt Boulevard when it sideswiped Vehicle #2, which was also traveling northbound. Vehicle #1 then lost control, rolled over and struck Vehicle #3, which was traveling southbound on Lucas and Hunt.”
According to the report, “[t]he driver of Vehicle #1, an adult female, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of Vehicle #3 also sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A female juvenile passenger in Vehicle #3 was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of Vehicle #2 was not injured.”
FirstAlert4.com is reporting, “[t]he driver of the first car was identified as Quwonna McGee, 22, from St. Louis. The driver of the third car was identified as Markeitha Washington, 54, from St. Louis. A girl who was also in the third vehicle was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.”
