As reported by Fox5Vegas.com, “The North Las Vegas Police Department said the crash occurred on April 9, 2026, around 4:17 p.m. on Simmons Street, just north of Carey Avenue.”

WRDW.com is reporting, “Terry Bilton, a 75-year-old truck driver, was at the end of his shift last Thursday afternoon when North Las Vegas Police say a speeding car tried to get by his tractor-trailer as he was making a turn into an industrial complex. Instead, the car slammed into the truck.”
According to the report, “[w]hen officers arrived on scene, both vehicles were engulfed in flames. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.”
The investigation is ongoing.
