Cleveland, TX News – Two people are dead after a shooting at a bar early Sunday morning, September 7, 2025.

As reported by Click2Houston.com, “[t]he violence broke out just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday outside [a sports bar], located on County Road 5018. Deputies say [the suspect] arrived around midnight, ordered drinks, and sat alone for more than an hour. He left shortly before closing, then returned minutes later and opened fire on patrons gathered outside on the patio. Investigators say he also shot toward the front doors of the business before fleeing.”

KHOU.com is reporting, “[w]hen deputies arrived, they found six people had been shot:

  • Alexis Jasso, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene.
  • Fernando Navarrete, 43, was flown to an area hospital and later died on Sept. 8.
  • Four others — Sandra Patricia Valiz Adrian, 42; Aldegundo Alvarez Trujillo, 40; Jose Rafael Sanchez, 34; and Andres Gonzalez, 35 — were treated for injuries to the hand, shoulder, or leg and later released.

The investigation is ongoing.
