Two people were shot at a Santa Cruz, CA parking lot Thursday night, August 8, 2024.
As reported by CBSnews.com, “Santa Cruz police said officers responded at about 8:53 p.m. to the shooting in the parking lot of the Small Craft Harbor at 135 5th Avenue. The shooting happened during a crowded outdoor weekly beach party event at The Crow’s Nest restaurant.”
KRON4.com is reporting, “[p]olice located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics treated both victims at the scene. One of the victims was taken to a trauma center, where they are listed in critical condition. “
The investigation is ongoing.
