Gunfire erupted outside a Wilson, North Carolina restaurant Thursday afternoon, February 3, 2022, leaving one man dead.

As reported by CBS17.com, “[a]round 3 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the shooting report along the 1600 block of Goldsboro Street South. The scene was the parking lot of  [a] restaurant.”

WRAL.com is reporting, “[u]pon arrival, officers said they located 36-year-old Maurice Ruffin in the parking lot of the [restaurant].”

According to the report, “[Maurice] Ruffin had been shot multiple times and was later pronounced deceased after being transported to the hospital.”

One suspect was taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing.

Update: According to the TheNewsTribune.com, “Demonte Nettles Williams was identified by the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s office as the shooting victim.”

 A man was shot and killed at a Tacoma, WA motel parking lot Tuesday afternoon, January 25, 2022.

As reported by TheNewsTribune.com, “[p]olice responded to a 911 call at 4:40 p.m. in the 8700 block of South Hosmer Street.”

Q13Fox.com is reporting, “[w]hen officers arrived, they found a man unresponsive. Officers tried to save his life, but the 29-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Two people were shot at a Jeffersonville, IN bar early Thursday morning, February 3, 2022.

As reported by WDRB.com, “[p]olice responded to reports of a shooting at the Pitt Stop Pub & Grill in the 1500 block of East 10th Street.”

NewsandTribune.com is reporting, “[t]wo victims, a 48-year-old from Maryville, and a 30-year-old from Corydon, were located and taken to the hospital.”

According to the report, “[b]oth victims were suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. One victim received life-threatening injuries, but is expected to be OK.”

A suspect was arrested in connection with the shooting.
