Tallahassee, FL NEWS – Gunfire rang out at an apartment complex early Sunday morning, May 24, 2026, leaving one man injured.

As reported by Tallahassee.com, “[o]fficers responded just before 5 a.m. to Legacy Suites apartments after hearing gunshots near the off-campus apartments catering to Florida State University students.”

WCTV.tv is reporting, “TPD said a large crowd of people were gathered in the parking garage at 411 Chapel Drive just before 5 a.m. Officers responded after hearing gunfire and found one man had been shot. TPD said his injuries are life-threatening and he was taken to the hospital.”

According to the report, “[o]fficials say two other people showed up to the hospital with gunshot wounds, and they are expected to survive.”
