A man is dead after a shooting at a Dallas, TX parking lot Friday afternoon, February 16, 2024.
As reported by Fox4News.com, “[p]olice were called to a parking lot off W. Mockingbird Lane, near Hawes Avenue, around 2 p.m. on Friday.”
News.Yahoo.com is reporting, “[o]fficers found one man dead and another was rushed to the hospital. Police say he was critically injured.”
According to WFAA.com, “In an update Saturday morning, DPD said 43-year-old [shooter] and 26-year-old D’Marcus Lott got into an argument in the parking lot of a business. DPD said [the shooter] shot [D’Marcus] Lott and then later shot himself.” Per the report, “[the shoooter] died at the scene, and [D’Marcus] Bell was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.”
The investigation is ongoing.
