Gunfire erupted Wednesday morning, February 28, 2024 at a Houston, TX gas station leaving one man dead.

As reported by Click2Houston.com, “[o]fficers were called to [a gas station] at the 10200 block of Bauman Road at about 6:33 a.m. due to the shooting.”

According to Click2Houston.com, “two men, an uncle and nephew identified as Andrew Garza, 30, were headed to work when the Garza stopped for gas. While at the pump, another man in a gray Chevrolet Impala approached him with a gun and demanded money.”

ABC13.com is reporting, “once the uncle, who was also armed, saw what was happening, he fired shots toward the suspect and the silver Impala, hitting one of the passengers. The suspect then, according to police, fired several rounds, hitting the nephew in the head and killing him.”

The shooting investigation is ongoing.

Gunfire erupted Monday afternoon, July 31, 2023 at a Houston, TX gas station leaving one man dead and one other injured.

As reported by Click2Houston.com, “[p]olice say the shooting took place at the Sunoco gas station in the 2100 block of Fannin.”

According to the report, “[i]nvestigators at the scene say the shooter had gotten into an argument with one of the men before walking outside and opening fire.”

KHOU.com is reporting, “[t]wo men were shot. One of them was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The other man was grazed, was treated at the scene and is expected to be OK.“
