A man is dead after a shooting at a Minneapolis, MN bar late Saturday night, Dec 3, 2022.

As reported by Fox9.com, “the shooting happened around 11:40 p.m. at [a] Tavern on Monroe Street North East.”

According to the report, “[o]fficers were called to the scene and found a man in his 30s with at least one life-threatening gunshot wound.”

KARE11.com is reporting, “despite life-saving efforts, the man died at the scene. The initial investigation shows an altercation between the victim and a man in his 40s escalated, leading to the shooting. The police statement said witnesses held the suspect until officers arrived.”

According to KTSP.com, “[t]he Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man killed…as 37-year-old Kenneth Todd Rodriguez, of Minneapolis.”

The investigation is ongoing.
